Meet Kim and Shawn…..and their first two babies!  They are expecting another baby SOON!  Is she not the cutest, tiniest pregnant woman ever?!  Here are a few from their recent session.  We can’t wait to see them back for the newborn session!  Kim is an interior designer in Dallas and we are excited to visit their home for one of the sessions and take some pictures of “jr” in his new AWESOME bedroom : )

Meet our friends Kelley and Dianthe….and the cute little one is Sydney!  We met this couple back before they were married and had the honor of photographing their wedding….since that time, we’ve photographed them many times…..throughout D’s first pregnancy, during the delivery of baby Sydney (natural I might add!) and of course there have been lots of pictures of Miss Sydney!  Well….as you can see, we are awaiting the arrival of Baby H #2….ANY DAY!  We took these photos last weekend….doesn’t she looked GREAT?!?!  I looked like a medium sized house at that stage!  Luckily D has good genes!We have our camera bags packed and are ready to head to the hospital just as soon as we get the call….to photograph the birth of baby #2!  Here are a few of my favorites from their session.  There will be more to come from this session!

I can’t tell how sweet this little on is!  We had such a ball with her in the studio for her 3 month shoot.  We have had the privilege to shoot her sweet cousin too!  Enjoy!

Since we are getting so close, we figured it was time to post our Holiday Mini-Session Dates!  We are sooo excited to have Santa back with us this year! Our mini sessions are going to be Nov. 8, 14th and 21st this year!  The fee is $50 for the 15 minute mini-session.  We will also have our designers on hand to help you select your custom holiday cards!  And of course….Santa will be here!

We have had TREMENDOUS response to our Holiday Card mini-sessions.  We have been asked to add a date…so we are adding November 16th.  We’re not sure if Santa will be able to join us or not….but we will be doing the same mini-sessions for $50 (with $25 going to the Genesis Women’s Shelter.)  Please email us with the date and times you are interested in booking. We will be booking every 30 minutes!

Meet Jessica and Mark….and the star of the house….Bella!  I was teasing them that they haven’t had photos taken since their wedding!!  I think we need to make this an annual event! 

We are excited to offer mini-sessions again this holiday season.   Like last year, we will be shooting each family/couple for approx. 20 minutes or so….if the weather cooperates, we will be doing indoor and outdoor!

We will again offer custom cards in various sizes and quantities as well as custom canvas and other great Holiday gifts for family!

We are also happy to say that SANTA will again be visiting BluDoor Studios for these sessions….so you can add Santa in on some of your photos as well!

Dates:  Sunday, November 9th from 9:30 - 2:00 pm.  (sessions every 30 minutes)

Saturday, November 15th from 10:00 - 4:00 pm (sessions every 30 minutes)

Mini-Session Fees:  $50 - $25 of your fee will be a donation to Genesis Women’s Shelter.  We will have receipts for you!

Card prices begin at $45 per box of 24.

A couple of months ago, our family was chosen to participate in the pay it forward sessions that John Michael and Dalisa Cooper were shooting during the Very AltF Tour.  As part of our “payment” we were to do the same for another photographers family!  So we are excited to introduce you to the Maldonado Family.  We had several photographer families send us emails about why they should be selected and we picked these suspects!  (We did forward everyone else’s info on to other photographers who were looking for families to shoot!)   We had a little snafu during our first scheduled session….a hurricane named Ike!  But, we finally got to meet our family one Friday in Ennis, Texas.  Alex owns a photography and videography business in Palastine, Texas.  They have three kids and are expecting number 4!  Alex has not had his photo taken professionally since high school!!!  So we thought this was a great time to get them some new family shots.  We could have posted a 100 pics of this family as they are all so photogenic!!!
